Competition for the Golden Cup of Wine&Spirits 2010
Dear exhibitors,
the competition for the best wines will have 12 categories this year.
A) domestic wines
1) white still wines till 4 g of residual sugar
2) white still wines from 4 to 45 g of residual sugar
3) red still wines till 4 g of residual sugar
4) red still wines from 4 g to 45 g of residual sugar
B) foreign wines
1) white still wines till 4 g of residual sugar
2) white still wines from 4 to 45 of residual sugar
3) red still wines till 4 g of residual sugar
4) red still wines from 4 to 45 of residual sugar
C) rose wines till 45 g of residual sugar, without regard to color or origin of grapes
D) sparkling wines without regard to color or origin of grapes
E) natural sweet wines above 45 g, and wines without regard to color or origin of grapes (ice wines, straw wines, ,...)
F) other wines - liqueurs, aromatized wines, wines without regard to residual sugar, color or origin of grapes (fortified).

The winners can obtain gold, silver or bronze medals in each of 12 categories.
The wine with the most points will obtain Golden Cup – Wine & Spirits and evaluation Champion 2010 - Prize of the premier CR. The domestic wine with the most points, will obtain the Cup - Wine&Spirits Prague 2010 with evaluation Prize of the minister of agriculture CR.
The competition is open for all wines that meet the statute of the competition.
Exhibitors (or co-exhibitors) can take part in competition free of charge. Non-exhibitors must pay only one-off fee - 125 EUR on our account (IBAN No: CZ11 0300 0000 000 223 898 006, SWIFT: CEKO CY PP)
If you want to take part, send the original of your application and 6 bottles (bottles must be labeled according to the law and must include batch number!) from each sample to the address of organizer (Vego Prag, s.r.o Jeseniova 77, 130 00 Praha 3) as soon as possible, deadline is the 19th March 2010. Delivered samples, which fail to meet required demands, will not be returned.

APPLICATION for the competition of wines. (form is at this menu)
The application must be filled in for every sample and must contain:
Name and address of producer and importer, telephone number of producer or importer, vintage of wine, categorization, type of grape (all used types),number of the batch and amount of the batch of bottles, contain of sugar. Certificate about origin of wine (decision from Ministry of Agriculture about the classification of wine or similar official document, or your statutory declaration.
Evaluation will take place from the March 22. – March30. 2010 in Wines Home, Bílkova 13, Prague 1. The wines will be evaluated by 100 points system of International Union of Enologists.
Organizer reserves the right for print and distribution of stickers with logo of Trade Fair for winning wines.
Producer or importer of wines that have won a prize will deliver to organizer a package of 12 winning bottles 1 day before the beginning of the Fair at the latest. Bottles will be used for the festival toast and welcome of VIP and other presentation. In case, he is not able to give the bottles at organizer’s disposal, he must pay the deposit 37 EUR for 1 bottle. This deposit will be paid back after receiving of bottles. If he does not meet these requirements, he will not obtain the prize and will be not stated among winning wines. (The deposit is valid till 30.6. 2010, and then it becomes invalid).
